Project Description
The JHU Self-Empowerment and Equity for Change (SEE Change) Initiative has an ongoing randomized controlled trial in partnership with local Ugandan organizations. As part of this work, the SEE Change team is conducting preliminary research on how to best scale a behavioral intervention within large-scale livelihood programs in Uganda. This implementation science pilot will be in collaboration with one of the following groups: Ripple Effect, Goal International, or Heifer International. This collaboration will allow us to assess the effective integration of the behavioral intervention into their ongoing program activities.
Scope of Work
The student will work with the local organization's implementation team to review documentation on intervention content, program integration, and outcomes. The student will work to document when and where the curriculum is embedded into the program and identify the key indicators that can be tracked to assess impact. This may also include conducting analyses if results are available at the time.
